Competition & Performance Team 

Electric City Dance Arts is proud to offer a Company Dance Team for those dancers looking for more performance opportunities, technique training, and variety of styles of dance. At ECDA, we don’t call it a “competition team” because it is so much more!  We call it a Company because we choose to model our group more like dance companies you will find in Chicago, New York, or other big cities.  Our emphasis is TECHNIQUE and PERFORMANCE, not competition. Our emphasis is TEAM, not individual.  

Our company offers 5 levels of commitment (financial and time) so that your dancer can get exactly what they need. These levels are not based on AGE or ABILITY. They are based on what works best for your family.  Once we evaluate your dancer, we will make placement recommendations about level of recreational classes and styles of dance.  

MINI TEAM (Ages 5-8)

 

Tuition: $125/mo.

Comp Fees: $450

Costumes: $375

  • 3 hours of class per week/2 dances

  • 2 recreational classes (Ballet, Jazz/Hip Hop)

  • 1 class of rehearsal

HIP HOP TEAM (Ages 8+)

 

Tuition: $125/Month

Comp Fees: $225

Costumes: $225

Boot Camp: $50

  • 2 hours of class per week/1 dance

  • 1 recreational class (Hip Hop)

  • 1 class of rehearsal

 

  • 5 hours of class per week/3 dances

  • 4 recreational classes (Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Lyrical)

  • 1 class of rehearsal

  • 1 Class of Conditioning and Technique

  • 1 Saturday rehearsal per month 8:30 am-11:30 am

COMPANY TEAM (Ages 9+)

 

VIBE

Tuition: $250/Month

Comp Fees: $840

Costumes: $390

Boot Camp: $100

  • 5 hours of class per week/2 dances

  • 3 recreational classes
    (1 ballet and two other styles)

  • 1.5 hours of rehearsal per week

  • Technique and Conditioning Class

  • 1 Saturday rehearsal per month 8:30 am-11:30 am

 

RHYTHM

Tuition: $300/Month

Comp Fees: $1120

Costumes: $455

Boot Camp: $150

  • 6 hours of class per week/3 dances

  • 4 recreational classes
    (1 ballet and three other styles)

  • 1.5 hours of rehearsal per week 

  • Technique and Conditioning Class

  • 1 Saturday rehearsal per month 8:30 am-11:30 am

PULSE

Tuition: $350/Month

Comp Fees: $1120

Costumes: $455

Boot Camp: $150

 

In addition to the dances above, your dancer may choose to do a solo performance for the year. This will be an additional cost (tuition, costumes, competition fees) beyond the above fees. See our Solo/Duo Fees sheet and talk to one of us for more details and recommendations.
